Hot-Swap / Redundant Power Supplies Products are primarily characterized by their ability to blind-mate into their mating rack or system without having to power-down the the system.  This enables 100% up-time even during a failure or replacement of a power module.  Multiple power modules are tied in parallel to share the load and provide continued operation during a failure of a power supply module.

Typical Characteristics of the Power Supplies qualified by Bravo include Universal AC input for utilization from global AC Sources, blind-mate connectors, OR'ng Diodes and hot-swap functionality typically into a 19" Power Shelf or directly into the customers end system.  These supplies are switch-mode topologies for smaller size, lighter weight and higher efficiencies.  Typical safety approvals are UL60950 Registered or equivalent.
